This has beautiful links to our school values of kaitiakitanga and manaakitanga. If this isn’t possible for you, we invite students to bring along any pet that they are genuinely responsible for the care of. It starts at 10am on Saturday 29th October, where the animals will enter into the respective rings and compete for placings. More information can be found in the LCPD Booklet and complete the following form to enter. If child/ren wish to enter a lamb or calf for the first time and they are not sure where to start, we have families within the school who are happy to help and can lend calves and lambs. We can support you with where to start on this journey at the office. After the animal judging is complete, we head to the hall for the Annual Cake Auction where cakes made by children or their families are auctioned off to raise funds for the school. You will also have the opportunity to look through the classrooms to see all the indoor exhibits. Information about these comes home by the end of Term 3. The PTA will run food stalls and have raffles. We encourage all families to come along, even if your child isn’t entering an animal. It is a fun day out and a Turitea tradition that we are proud of and wish to continue in a year that has had interruptions.

Mid Term Break:

Another reminder that this is on Monday 29th August and school will be closed for instruction.
