As you are aware, our Ministry of Education (MoE) introduced a new curriculum this year for Maths & Statistics and English. Because we have transitioned to these new teaching and assessment methods at the start of the year, you may notice a shift in your child’s reported progress or achievement levels compared to previous years due to changing curriculum expectations. So our reports will look and feel a bit different than you may be used to, based on these changes. Have a look at the different descriptors in the graphic above that might give you some further clarity. We will have another round of Kōrero Mai (Parent/Teacher Conferences) early next term to discuss these reports further with you. If you missed our Curriculum Clarity evening we held last term, check out the slides we shared with a bit more information about the shifts.

Hui Ā Kura:

This afternoon’s assembly was led by our tuakana (seniors) Liam, Andre and Michael. It was fantastic to see such a great turnout, mihi atu (thank you) to those who came along.
